I love this book and would give it 10 stars if It was possible. Each recipe is scaled from 6-8, 3-4, and 1-2 servings. This allows me to try the recipe prior to making large batches of something I may not like or as the author says tweak the recipe to my preference. Each recipe also has both crockpot and regular cooking directions. I can choose to make a large jar as a gift or single portion for lunch. I have a large organic garden and dehydrate a lot of my produce. I hope she writes many more-side dishes, dinners etc. just like this one.
Perhaps I read the description wrong, but I expected this book to teach me how to dehydrate and assemble my own soup mixes, not purchase them already dehydrated and packaged. Maybe that is what "Dehydrated Products" meant.
I love this book. It has a large variety of recipes and I learned about some products I hadn't known about that will help me with my dehydrated foods recipes. I can't wait for her next book! If you are using dehydrated foods to build your food supply this book is a must!
I bought this book on kindle. Big mistake. Recipes are in chart form and very hard to follow on a IPAD. The book is good but buy the paperback I sent the book to my Sister and she loves it. I send a lot of it to the printer to be able to follow the charts.
